The secret bait of top professionals has finally arrived. The Jack Hammer bladed jig was born from the combined expertise of Morizo Shimizu — a top-category tournament angler who has relied on bladed jigs since the original chatterbait debuted in 2004 — and Brett Hite, known as "Mr. Bladed Jig," who achieved back-to-back victories at the 2014 FLW Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series opening events using a bladed jig as his primary weapon.
Every detail of the Jack Hammer has been refined to perfection. Core components including the blade, head, hook, rubber skirt, and trailer keeper have all been meticulously engineered. Even the blade hole position and size — the connection point between the snap and head — were fine-tuned to the millimeter.
The name "Jack Hammer" reflects its defining characteristics: a clear, powerful vibration felt directly in your hands, combined with a deep, low-frequency sound produced by the blade striking the head.
Key Technologies:
- Low-Center-of-Gravity Flat Head — Wide front face creates blade-to-head contact for deep, low-frequency sound. Flat bottom for easy skipping. Groove prevents blade from falling off during wire spread.
- 0.4mm Stainless Steel Blade — Precisely tuned thickness for fast startup, strong water displacement, shock wave generation, and razor-sharp action.
- Heavy Wire Gamakatsu Oceanic Bend Hook — Long throat for secure hookups, wide gap for big trailers, heavy wire for big fish in heavy cover.
- Double Wire Keeper — Upper and lower wire keepers dramatically reduce trailer slippage, even with large trailers or during weed cutting.
- Silicon Rubber Skirt — Color and action refined through extensive field testing by Shimizu and Brett Hite.
- Decoy Egg Snap #2 — Cross-lock snap included as standard.
Available in 3 JDM-exclusive colorways: CG Blue Back Chart, CG BK Back Shiner, and CG Purple Wakasagi — in 3/8oz and 1/2oz.
